The 39th RAMP Conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza Austin Hotel.
The Crowne Plaza Austin Hotel offers enjoyable amenities such as free wireless high-speed internet access and an on-site restaurant. The hotel is minutes from the center of the city with convenient access to Interstate 35. The Crowne Plaza Austin is within a few miles of sights such as Thinkery and Hyde Park Theatre. This 293-room, 3.5-star hotel has a restaurant along with conveniences like an outdoor pool and a 24-hour fitness center. Crossroads Grille at the Austin Crowne Plaza Hotel is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guests can enjoy cable TV and stay connected with free Wi-Fi. The bathroom offers hair dryers and free toiletries. Other standard amenities include a refrigerator, a coffee maker, and free weekday newspapers.
The seven-story hotel is located 6.5 miles from Huston-Tillotson University; 8 miles from State Capitol; and 14 miles from Austin-Bergstrom Airport.
For the RAMP 2020 Conference, the guest room rate will be $105.00 for single/double occupancy plus tax, per night. The rate includes complimentary Wi-Fi in all guest rooms.
To ensure you receive the conference special room rate, reservations must be received at the hotel on or before Tuesday, January 21, 2020. After this date, any reservations shall be on an availability basis and at the hotel’s then current available rate. When reserving your room, be sure to identify yourself as a RAMP Conference attendee. Individual reservations must be made by calling the hotel directly at 512.323.5466 or by calling Crowne Plaza Toll-Free reservations at 800.227.6963. Each attendee must provide all information required by the reservations agent. All reservations must be guaranteed and accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. Individual reservations have a 72-hour cancellation notice required or a one (1) night room and tax will be billed to the credit card on file. If you need special accommodations, be sure to request them when making the reservation.
Hotel Parking
Car parking is available at the hotel. Complimentary Daily Self-Parking is available to all guests and event attendees. The hotel has over 500 parking spaces including 15 handicapped spaces located in front of the hotel. Valet parking is not available.
Transportation
Central Austin lies between two major north-south freeways: Interstate 35 to the east and the Mopac Expressway (Loop 1) to the west. U.S. Highway 183 runs from northwest to southeast, and State Highway 71 crosses the southern part of the city from east to west, completing a rough "box" around central and north-central Austin. Austin is the largest city in the U.S. to be served by only one Interstate Highway.
